Strategie Globale

The League of the Groupings for Development (L.G.D.) adopted the participative and active approach which implies the local populations with all the stages of the actions. The word is given to the communities in order to enable them to be expressed, testify and especially to discuss with complete freedom with any partner before making the decisions which engages them.

This participative and active approach consists in taking the man in all his environment, in all its globality for its real car-promotion. For all the interventions and in order to accompany the local populations, the L.G.D. proceeds in the following way with the various target groups:

• To observe
• To discuss
• To include/understand
• To act or undertake.

It preaches and encourages a participation free and responsible for the populations in the transformation of their company. The strategy of intervention of the L.G.D. consists in mobilizing and with more implies all the partners of the support-accompaniment of the target groups, in order to increase on the level of the latter, their capacity of self-assistance, their capacity of negotiation and to thus encourage the participative development at the local level.

All this aims for objective to help the local populations for their autonomy and of a real alternative development.

The strategy of intervention of the L.G.D. also consists with:

To identify and develop the expertise in the fields where the recipients intervene in order to avoid bringing a support to them which they do not need;
To install tools for data acquisition in order to capitalize the experiments and the results of ground on the level of the target groups.
